Here it is, Monday morning again.
Haven’t we heard over and over,
how Monday is the hardest day of the week?
And implication being,
The work week looms.
Today, you could think how grateful
You are to have work to do.
How grateful you are
To have people to see during the day.
How grateful you are
To plan to see your loved ones
At the end of a wonderful Monday,
Full of kindness and love shared
By you and coming back to you
All day.
How ‘bout?

Monday, Monday (Bah da, bah da-da, da), so good to me (Bah da, bah da-da, da)...
Monday mornin' (Bah da, bah da-da, da), it was all I hoped it would be...

"If today gets difficult,
remember the smell of coffee,
the way sunlight bounces off a window,
the sound of your favorite person’s laugh,
the feeling when a song you love comes on,
the color of the sky at dusk, and
that we are here to take care of each other."

We hear so many reports of loss of loved ones,
Each touching our hearts and emotion,
One man sitting at hospital bedside, holding his father’s hand,
said a little book, “Gone from my Sight”,
Helped him immensely.
As God brings our precious ones to Him,
We struggle because we are left behind.
We are now alone,
Alone from a best friend,
be it husband, wife, child or friend.
The hole in our heart aches and cries
For comfort.
Still, the sky is still big,
God is still there,
And in the sunset of the life now lost
We exist in God’s purview,
Together with those gone from our sight.

Sending love,

Gratitude for the morning
The early morning beams of sunlight, golden and pink.
The fresh air hinting of autumn
The greetings of loved ones in the morning waking.
My steaming hot cup of coffee with milk foam on top.
A window in front of me while at my desk.
A window to the side of me while at my desk.
A day of fullness to come,
Fullness of laughter, fullness of love, fullness of things to do.
Good morning and love, laughter and things to do — to you.

Love,
