What's your passion? Your mission? Are these central to your work today? Do they motivate you? There's a great Japanese word for having passion, mission, and work all combined into the same activity. Ikigai. It's so important that the Japanese government posted an article about the topic on its official website stating, "A broad concept, it [ikigai] refers to that which brings value and joy to life: from people, such as one’s children or friends, to activities including work and hobbies. Today, as you go forth in your life, decide what your passions are, and in prayer and meditation, step forward in your decision. Do not waver. You won't regret it. Love,

Today, you could stop and notice things you don’t typically notice. You could notice the spring flowers blooming. Think about their colors, their getting your attention... ...as they wave in the breeze. You could notice the people walking by and smile at every one... ...and you might just change their day for the way-better. You could notice the sweetness of the children you see. You could bask in the goodness of the people who smile at you first. Today - make your world stop for moments and give you... ...special, wonderful awarenesses. Maybe - just maybe - you’ll come to the end of the day... ...and feel happier and more connected than you might have. Love, Your thoughts become your life. Whatever you think about over and over is likely to come to pass. So, think about good things. Abraham Hicks said, “Whatever you’re thinking about is literally like planning a future event. When you’re worrying, you are planning. When you are feeling guilty, regretful, hurt, you are planning. Always for more of what you are pondering. When you’re appreciating you are planning…What are you planning?” “Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things." - Philippians 4:8 (KJV) "Picture yourself in your minds eye as having already achieved this goal. See yourself doing the things you'll be doing when you've reached your goal.” - Earl Nightingale Today, think on good things. Run the little video of good things through your mind. Have a wonderful good day! Love, I Am Willing to Change Our son Trey offers the inspirational thought for the week: “I realize that the power to change my world is always within me and within reach. At all times, I have a choice. I can choose to be trapped in the past, or I can choose to create a future that is instead, like the present. In all situations, there is an opportunity. I am willing to see past pain to light. I am willing to seek the hidden gift. I am willing to release all negative beliefs. They are only thoughts that stand in my way. My new thoughts are positive and fulfilling.” - Louise Hay |
