Life should be like the old children's Sunday school song, "This little light of mine, I'm going to let it shine..."
'Lightwork' is sharing the light of love in you -
It will change other lives...
But not as much as it will change yours.

Love shining,

Before there was a Brooklyn Bridge,
Someone had a mind-picture of it.
Before there was a Dubai,
Someone, living in a tent out in the desert, had a mind-picture of it.
Before there was your life, family, schooling, hobbies, wonderment...
...you had a mind-picture of each and all.
Because you created those things.
The key is that your mind must believe it CAN do something before
it CAN do it!
What do you want to create now?
Health? Joy?
Love and light,

Our mind plays a powerful role in our life.

It’s not what happens, but how you remember it.
It’s not what someone else thinks of you, but what you think of you.
It’s not what you have to do, but what opportunities present themselves.

Often we remember the good in the past, more than the negative.
That may be more difficult to achieve in our present.
It’s all about what we focus on...
...that creates our life.

You know how you feel when you are with people that just plain make you feel  positive, capable, energized, motivated, happy?

Centuries ago, Epictetus said,
“The key is to keep company only with people who uplift you, whose presence calls forth your best.”

Choose with whom you spend time...
...while you love everyone you meet.

Do you know that you are here for a purpose.
And that purpose is really, really important. You might never have a clue as to just how important your presence is right here, right now.
And your presence is one that no one else can fulfill!

What is forever?
Emily Dickinson said,
“Forever is composed of nows.”
Now.
Live the way you want everything to be.
Share love constantly as you go through your now.
Act as if...
...things are exactly the way you imagine is fantastic!
Create your now.
The way you wish it to be.
This is powerful:
“Just think how happy you would be if you lost everything you have right now, and then got it back again.”
    – Frances Rodman

Think about this:
It's perfectly OK to think of things for which you are grateful
 - even when all around you is confusion.
It’s actually a great thing to do!
And OFTEN.

What if you saw it differently?
How easy it is to be frustrated, annoyed, and stymied on our path.
And yet - what might happen if you saw those happenings, inconveniences...
...as messages from God?
What if you saw a lesson?  Or, a possible new direction?
What if you saw a reminder to trust, to have faith?
You can, you know.
It has been said that while some things are completely out of your control,
...the vast direction of your life is due to your own perspectives.
Which determines your responses.

What is the ever-so-much-better result in your life?
Claude and I have been talking about
How we make plans and set goals...
and then take steps toward those goals,
And sometimes it seems God’s answer is “No.”
Then, amazingly, in time to come,
As life goes on and we are doing things differently
From the original plan,
God says, “Yes”.
And it’s ever-so-much better than our original goal.

Like a house we tried to buy some years back,
No matter what we tried, and BOY! Did we try!.
So, we found another house, which
Now, we know, is an ever-so-much-better house.

Trust.
Keep moving toward.
Keep trusting.
And see what happens.

In our humanness, we stop being amazed at the goodness, the joy, the miracles,
That we forget to feel that rush of gratitude.
Look for it.
Notice the simplest things that are good today.
Enjoy the day.
