A little book by Chris Widener, with the title of Solomon’s wisdom above, says that guarding your heart is the single most important lesson for achieving, sustaining and enjoying success.
How is your heart? Do you guard it? At the core of who you are, what you do, and of your very life, is your heart. How is it?
”...for it is the wellspring of life.”
An extraordinary heart and extraordinary people are very uncommon.
“If You Want to Live an Extraordinary Life, you need to give up a Normal One.” ~ Darren Hardy
“If you want to live an Extraordinary Life, you have to give up many of the things that are part of a Normal One.” - Srinivas Rao
Before you become aware and begin to guard your heart, you can spend time with just about anyone. You can eat whatever you like. As Darren Hardy says, “You can justify activities and behaviors that are, frankly, mediocre.”
But as you become more aware, you realize you want to and need to change.
This is guarding your heart. This is becoming. This is the road to extraordinary. Will you choose it?
