Will it Be Retrospection or Prospection For You? The most common New Year’s resolutions have to do with physical health, exercise and eating styles. Every year at this time, the gyms, exercise classes, exercise equipment sellers and diet gurus sell a lot of their wares to us as we, well-meaning folks, make our new year’s resolutions. And after our money leaves our wallets and our lives keep rolling along, our resolutions are shelved til another year. Our “should’ve’s” imprison us. (I should’ve told my mother I love her; I should’ve started working out; I should’ve…). How about, instead of New Year’s resolutions that you’re going to try to do for a while, how about you change your philosophy, to create powerful results from the simple daily activities of your life. Use tools you already have. Your attitude creates your actions, your tiny actions create your results - and your LIFE changes. “Success is nothing more than a few simple disciplines practiced every day.” Jim Rohn Each and every tiny action can be changed a tiny bit for the better, and if you do that every single time, you’re on your way. The joy from these tiny achievements start the miracles flowing through your life. To your miraculous 2019! It's a special event, when a child has orthodontic treatment. And to make it most special, involve the child's parents and siblings -- They love to 'glove up' and be part of it! There are six areas in which the dentist must become skilled in order to do this well. Starting soon, we will teach a comprehensive orthodontics course, consisting of six sessions addressing these same topics. The course -- offering 20 hours ADA CERP credit -- is a great a learning opportunity for dentists. |
