Think, before you even get your coffee in your hand...

“This is going to be a wonderful day.  I can and will handle every challenge that comes my way.   I feel great physically, mentally and emotionally!   It is wonderful to be alive.”

What if you aren’t so sure you feel that great - or that sure?

Say it anyway.   Go into it.   Feel it as best you can.  Keep on saying it.

Get your coffee.

This morning, we walked when it was early enough there was hardly anyone up and about.   The beautiful summer morning was scented with the herb-y summer plants and still air.

As we walked and stilled our hearts, we said the “going to be a wonderful day”, then got back and made our coffee.

Sipping that yummy freshly ground, freshly brewed coffee, we felt the energy of the wonderful day!

“Before you leave the house, you need to make up your mind that you're going to stay positive and enjoy the day no matter what comes your way. You have to decide ahead of time.”    ~ Joel Osteen

Still your heart.   Breathe in.   See the beautiful day.   Feel and BE your gratitude.

Stay in love.

Starting each day making positive statements can be a great accompaniment to a cup of coffee.

As a young reader, I was inspired by the heroics of brave and smart girls in fiction, like Nancy Drew and nurse Sherry Ames. This helped put me on the path to nursing, dentistry and orthodontics.

Some days flow better than others.   Why?

Because of how you think.  When you remember that even the most challenging experiences are made easier when you see them as opportunities, the day will flow better.   Your life will be better.

Opportunities?

Yes.
To help others.   To make your family’s life better.   To grow.   To learn.   To reach out.

And then, when today is done, put it to rest and put yourself to rest.  A new day is coming.

“Finish each day and be done with it. You have done what you could. Some blunders and absurdities no doubt crept in; forget them as soon as you can. Tomorrow is a new day. You shall begin it serenely and with too high a spirit to be encumbered with your old nonsense.”            ~ Ralph Waldo Emerson

And when tomorrow becomes your today, start out with proclaiming:

Today is going to be a wonderful day.  I can handle every challenge that comes my way.  I feel great physically, mentally and emotionally.  It is wonderful to be alive.  I am grateful for all that I have had, all that I now have and all that I shall have.  Today will NOT fall apart.   God is with me, God is helping me, God is guiding me.  I thank God for every good thing.

Happy Day!

Your dental practice needs to be independent of the threats to its (and your) freedom.

Too often, dental practice earnings are eroded or eliminated by diminishing and delayed insurance reimbursements and increasing restrictions. But there is a way to become independent.

Part II of "Doctor, there's a fast train coming. Are you dancing on the tracks?'
It is a great opportunity and an important step:  Dentists can take a free market approach with their practices, and avoid the oncoming 'train wreck' of corporate and government domination.

Actually a better question is “What changes do you want to MAKE?”

It takes your constant and consistent decisions to make changes - because our lives become so habitual.  Habits are mostly unconscious.

That’s why it takes conscious energy to change what we are doing, where we are going, what we are reaping.

So, there are ways to make change happen.  It is within YOU.

The first step is your belief. about your life.

“If you’re gonna make a change, you’re gonna have to operate from a new belief that says life happens not TO me but FOR me.”
    ~ Tony Robbins

The next step is being clear on your goal.

So what change are you after?

Who do you want to be?  What will that be like?

And then, begin making action toward that goal.  The tiniest steps are great.  Do something, anything, and then do something else, anything else, to put you on your path.

The Universe’s magic engages to help you.

You are on your way.

Repeat over and over.

Have fun!
