Time with Friends, Sharing a Cuppa...

Spending seven years in Abu Dhabi, UAE, we learned how much the English cultures are steeped in the tradition of a hot cup of tea.  It is a love affair, for sure.

Afternoons in the clinic found us alternating between afternoon coffee and a cuppa.  (That’s tea.)  It depended on which parents were there, and what they chose to have served to them, while we drank the same and shared memories, home, experiences, and love.

Flying to and from Abu Dhabi and Texas, I got to enjoy a wonderful cup of tea, served in a porcelain cup with a saucer and a little tiny tea bag bowl, a touch of cream and sometimes a bit of honey.

Today, take a moment-

Pause.

Deep breath, belonging, loving. 

A Coffee?

A Cuppa?
