Purpose - You are here for a reason.

That reason has to do with connecting to others, to your higher self, and to God.

Your purpose is to fill a need or a void in the world, using your particular talents, awarenesses, your needs (yes - your needs), your fears, (yes - your fears),  your courage, your love.

(Funny thing, our purposes are all the same - make the world better - yet VERY different - using our talents, awarenesses, needs, fears, courage, love.)

Get to your purpose - today!

Start with gratitude. (Something you have to “work” at, to get in the habit of being thankful, to become aware of our good fortunes.)  Gratitude makes life wonderful.

The gratitude ‘System’ -
1. Take time to reflect - how about right when you wake up in the morning?
2. Think about what’s good in your life.  Say, “I am grateful for what I have had, for what I now have, and for what I shall have.”
3. Talk to others throughout the day and ask what they are grateful for.
4. Be generous with others.  Give your time, your energy, your LOVE, your abundance.
5. Tell others you are grateful for them.

Your purpose, your significance will become clearer and clearer to you as you find you have lower stress, more energy, more joy, better sleep, more fun, more delight, more love.

Let’s live together in love and gratitude, you wonderful you!

As the saying goes, “When God shuts one door, he opens another.”

Indeed, change is the natural flow of things. It changes around you.

Things change, and when a new door opens you can notice or ignore, you can choose to step into the new doorway or stay outside it.

Your choice.

Not noticing, not walking into the change are choices.  Your choices.

Many circumstances you CANNOT change, but you can change yourself.

Your courage is right in there with your fear.  Both are there.

Choose courage - because the quality of your life is directly proportional to the uncertainty with which you can live.

Choose the pain of uncertainty, of discipline.

Avoid the pain of regret.

Be happiest - do what most people avoid - be totally courageous and full of faith in life.  Avoid what most people do, living in fear.

Step into your future, your joy, your happiness.

Begin now.

INSTEAD, say, “I choose to feel tired,”  and, “I choose to feel bored.”

You decide your feelings, whether you realize it or not.

They are created in your mind, usually subconscious mind, and then when you recycle the thoughts in your CONSCIOUS mind, the feelings become stronger and more entrenched.

As the words come to your mind, your mouth, instead, even better say, “I choose to feel energized,” “I choose to rest now and rejuvenate,”  “I choose to find something great to do,” and on and on…

You BECOME what your WORDS SAY.
BECOME great.
Become happy.
Become energized.
Become engaged.
Become by choosing your words!!
The world you live in is the world you choose.

Choose bliss.

It’s funny as a dentist, to notice all the funny sayings about teeth.

Here’s one;  “Put your teeth into it,” implying that it is something that makes you think hard, work hard, put lots into it.

And for sure, that funny little idiom is a huge statement on how to make life great.Whatever you do.  Put your teeth into it.

Whatever your goals, put your teeth into them.

Whatever your challenges, put your teeth into them.

Get your skates on.

Wherever you are - be there fully!

Give it your all.

When loving, love with all you’ve got.

When working, work with all you’ve got.

When living, live with all you’ve got.

Sending all the love I’ve got, to you!

Keep on using your tiny yet incredibly significant disciplines that take you to miracles.

“This kind of simple progress will build a ladder leading out of the abyss of failure and neglect that once was our dwelling place.  With each new discipline we will have constructed a new rung that will enable us to climb out of darkness where the failures, the complainers, and the confused and misguided gather to share their sad stories of how unfair life is.”   ~Jim Rohn

Building the ladder is easy to do.

Every time you notice your aching back, you get up and do your yoga exercises that benefit your back. Every time you realize you have more abdominal girth that you wish, you change what you put in your mouth the next little while. Every time every time every time.  Keep on, keep on, keep on.

Life-transforming dynamism.
Daily TINY choices, all for the tiny bit better.

Choosing gratitude to lead your day.  Every single morning, before those feet touch the floor, think of three things you are grateful for.  Daily.  And even throughout the day.

The tiniest disciplines, practiced every moment, every day, start the incredible process to a life transformed.

Begin now.

Will it Be Retrospection or Prospection For You?

The most common New Year’s resolutions have to do with physical health, exercise and eating styles.

Every year at this time, the gyms, exercise classes, exercise equipment sellers and diet gurus sell a lot of their wares to us as we, well-meaning folks, make our new year’s resolutions.

And after our money leaves our wallets and our lives keep rolling along, our resolutions are shelved til another year.

Our “should’ve’s” imprison us.  (I should’ve told my mother I love her; I should’ve started working out; I should’ve…).

How about, instead of New Year’s resolutions that you’re going to try to do for a while, how about you change your philosophy, to create powerful results from the simple daily activities of your life.  Use tools you already have.  Your attitude creates your actions, your tiny actions create your results - and your LIFE changes.

“Success is nothing more than a few simple disciplines practiced every day.” Jim Rohn

Each and every tiny action can be changed a tiny bit for the better, and if you do that every single time, you’re on your way.  The joy from these tiny achievements start the miracles flowing through your life.

To your miraculous 2019!

  1. What you have?
  2. Who you are?
  3. Where you are?
  4. What you are doing?
This is a little tricky, because all of these things at times are what we think makes us happy or unhappy.

In fact, it’s the desire for pleasure, happiness, that is what you are after when you want a fancy, hot, gorgeous car/person on your arm or parked at your house - what you ”have”.

And, it’s that same desire for pleasure & happiness, that is what you are after when you work to “become or present or look” a certain way - who you “are.”

And, it’s the same desire again that is what you are after when you travel to exotic places and live in a certain neighborhood or frequent your favorite haunts - where you “are.”

And finally, you get the picture - what you are “doing” - same desire for pleasure or happiness.

But, “It isn’t what you have or who you are or where you are or what you are doing that makes you happy or unhappy. It is what you think about it.”
~ Dale Carnegie

So now, you know.  Change what you think about things, and get happier.

Be grateful for
  1. What you have
  2. Who you are - believe me, you are somebody special.
  3. Where you are
  4. What you are doing.
Change any of it anytime, and just remember - your gratitude will bring you:
- happiness, AND
- more of what you are grateful for - what you have, who you are, where you are, and what you do.

To an amazing little secret!  Grateful for you!

How will you feel WHEN your dream comes true?

I remember realizing as a young mother that I had often waited for “when”.

When I started junior high school.  When I went to high school.
When I graduated.
When I started nursing school.
When I graduated.
When I got married.
When I delivered my baby.
When my baby began to walk…

One day it dawned on me that I was always looking forward to…

That’s a good thing. Looking forward in happy anticipation.

Now I know the way to make it the best, to make it drive my life the most successfully, is to feel what I imagine I will feel when it happens.

Those imaginings of feelings and the feelings themselves are called imaging.  Those energies in our subconscious mind, propel the dreams toward fruition.

Those energies help you to do what you can do — and it will be good enough. It will turn out that it is very very good!  No matter how it seems, you will have enough time to do what you can do and you’ll do even better than you thought and life will be even more spectacular than you pictured!

“Begin to live as though your prayers are already answered.”   ~ Tony Robbins

Remember to feel, to live, to be as you will, WHEN.

Love,

You might.  Actually you will.

Success comes on the heel of failure.

Without failure, we don’t learn as much.  We don’t know and understand as much.  We can’t appreciate as much.

I love the story of the prospector out West years ago, who dug and dug and dug, looking for gold. He was so sure it was nearby.  No gold.

Finally, after much digging, he gave up.

A couple of his cohorts decided to keep digging, keep moving on.  Within days, they STRUCK GOLD!

DON’T QUIT.

Success is on the other side of fear.

“Action breeds confidence and courage. If you want to conquer fear, do not sit home and think about it. Go out and get busy.  Inaction breeds doubt and fear. Do the thing you fear to do and keep on doing it. That is the quickest and surest way ever yet discovered to conquer fear.”  ~ Dale Carnegie

“More dreams die due to doubt, fear and excuses, than to actually failing.”
~ Brian Chewning

To your success!
