Gossiping -- the casual or unconstrained discussion and reports about others -- hurts you.
There are almost always obvious positive traits upon which to focus about any person. Look for those and lift the other person up in love. Your life is positively transformed every time you do this.

Today, I talk about passion in providing orthodontic care, how it transforms a doctor’s life as it transforms children' lives, and why finishing and detailing in ortho is an ubiquitous challenge. This is the video addition to my article in the latest issue of the Journal of the American Orthodontic Society. Claude and I made an offer on an historic house that we absolutely loved. We could not wait to move in.
Then -- the deal fell through as the owner refused to sell. We were devastated, sure our failed dream was irreparable. Six months later, we found a house that is ever so much more perfect, a much better investment, and did not need the time, money and energy of repairs of the first house. While we had no choice, we needed to let it go. We found that initially impossible, then started using positive thoughts and changed our emotional states. Then and only then could the Universe open a new door, a MUCH better house. Now, three years later, we are grateful for the closed door and its lesson. Why to let it go? - so it doesn’t cause you stress in anger, frustration, self-recrimination and disappointment. - so you can be happier and more enjoy your relationships with others, How to let it go? - work to make a decision to let it go. It won’t disappear by itself. - see yourself as powerful, not the victim, and use positive thoughts: - by repeating positive thoughts to yourself over and over until you are in the new place of peace. (thoughts like, “I am willing to let go.” “Only good comes from this situation.” “In patience I wait and learn.”) - stay in this moment and make it as good to great as you can. Louise Hay had a passion for loving and dedicated her life to teaching how to live a positive and empowered life. The power is in the present moment. It is there that you plant the seeds for tomorrow.
Louise taught the use of repeating positive statements until they imbue you with their power, because every thought you think is creating your future. Be comforted today as you affirm over and over, “Everything is working out to my highest good. Only good comes from this situation. I am safe. All is well in my world.” Let your spirit pick up in comfort and awareness of your true self. To a wonderful day, with love, |
