Perhaps the number one cause of loneliness is not a lack of friends, of worry is not the problems, of sadness is not the grief, but a lack of keeping busy.
When you have a crisis, a challenge, a problem - the best response is to get busy. Busy is setting goals, making plans, tiny actions toward those. It is not time on screens and social media. Maybe your main challenges are in relationships, or money, or health, or your career, or some of each. - Get busy. Because, when you get busy, God can take your actions, and provide what you need right in between. It might be a new friend or love. It might be a great idea. It might be comfort. It might be a career boost. It might be …who knows? God knows. Some of the best things that happen to you don’t seem to be the result of anything you have done. Are they luck? Blessings and miracles are God’s way. Get busy. Find joy in your activity.
