Distractions from anxiety that Don’t Work: TV, computer, texting, movies, food and liquor.
The voice in your head of worry, anxiety, sadness keeps coming back. The path to peace is via willingness. Willingness makes it easier. Are you searching? You are part-way there. Your longing takes you to willingness. Willingness is a relief. It unfolds and leaves you able to feel gratitude. Willingness allows you to begin to let go of the harsh, horrid, negative thoughts and beliefs. Otherwise, the thoughts and distractions keep you miserable, trapped in the false life they create. Begin a new habit of gratitude. That works. Gratitude magnifies your positive emotions and beliefs. Whew!
